Our Story

Lifepath Hospice Care Services has been serving the people of Shreveport and surrounding areas since 2002. We’re locally owned and operated and, because of this, are committed not only to our patients and their families, but to creating a better community for all of our citizens.

When we first opened our doors, it was with the idea of creating a safe place where a person’s physical, emotional and spiritual needs could be met during the end of their life. Today, we still honor that mission and work diligently to ensure that each person we serve is able to receive comfort and peace as they make their transition from life to death.

Hospice isn’t a place – it’s a mission of care. We provide care to people wherever they live. This might be at home, in a senior living community or it could be in a care facility such as a nursing home or assisted living facility. We also have arrangements with several healthcare facilities throughout the area, where we offer crisis care and care for those whose symptoms can no longer be managed in the home setting.

Our team consists of a group of highly skilled and compassionate physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, chaplains, caregivers and volunteers. They focus on empowering patients and their families to achieve a peaceful and comfortable end-of-life experience. The staff at Lifepath Hospice Care Services Hospice is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to meet the needs of our patients and their families.

Lifepath Hospice Care Services is certified and licensed in the state of Louisiana and is a member of the Louisiana and Mississippi Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (LMHPCO).
