Respite Care

Inpatient hospice care may also be provided on a short-term respite basis. Unlike regular inpatient care, respite care isn’t prompted by a change in the patient’s condition. Instead, it is provided for family caregivers who need a break – either to take a vacation, run errands or simply to recharge and rejuvenate. We’ll move your loved one to one of our partner locations for up to five days. They will enjoy the same care they received at home, provided by the same team of compassionate caregivers. At the end of the respite stay, they’ll return home, and regular in-home care will continue.
